In Gentaro's opinion, food science was just cooking! Explosions were just a spice of the adventure known as meal preparation! Somehow, Gentaro's actual cooking mishaps were actually fairly few in number--probably out of luck and lack of opportunity more than anything else.

He's finishing off her sweet pompadour when she takes his controller, and he smooths the top with a practiced eye before he answers. "Go ahead," he says, "I mean, can't hurt, can it?"
