When she asks what they're playing, he stops mid-step, all true dramatic timing, and points at her. "Halo 3," he says, frankly not anywhere near solemn enough for that announcement, and slides back into casual in order to go rifling through his Sylladex. Belatedly, something occurs to him. "Is your TV gonna take an Earth-style cord?" He'd only brought his own copy of things because he wanted to be able to use his save files; hopefully if they wound up having to alchemize it with her troll television or whatever it'd save things for him, because hell if he was letting her do a speed-run of the story and simultaneously manage to blast his every record on the way.
